It’s been over 10 years in the making and is truly an amazing, versatile, dynamic, user friendly and unique product that’s in a class all by itself and now, Patented. It's truly a “hybrid”, if you will, the next generation in Laptop Computer Storage and Usage. It's part a Laptop Case and part a Laptop Sleeve, hence its name “CA”-”VE” or just “CAVE”™. It has the compact, portability, lightness and ease of a Laptop Computer Sleeve, while also having the protection and security of a Laptop Computer Case and so very much more! It's one amazingly simple, patented, well-thought out and high quality product system, wrapped up in an all-in-one lightweight, compact and highly functional mobile desk/workstation.

As most people know today, all the newer Mini-NetBooks and Laptop Computers emit numerous spectrums of RF/EM Radiation. ( i.e. WiFi, WAN, Bluetooth, Magnetic, Electrical, Cellular, GPS, Infrared, Laser, etc.) This product addresses them all by protecting the user from them all. In addition to, also mitigating the Thermal (Heat) component from the laptop, as well. It also further functions by keeping your PC running even cooler and cleaner due to its unique and patented design. This, one feature alone, will extend its life ~10% - 15% and even more, over its overall lifespan. It also extends its battery life and performance by having it run cooler when used in even when stored inside the CAVE™. This product truly protects your PC and also its user to. Please note that this product can also be used with other compact electronic devices. (i.e. Compact DVD Players, E-Book Readers, PDA’s, iPods, iPads, etc., and even with Police Radar Guns)

It also solves the problem of where to store/place your case/sleeve when using your laptop computer at airports, trains, buses, etc. Remember here that ordinary cases/sleeves will not protect you from these EMF’s emitted from your PC, in addition to, causing it to run at a higher working temperature by obstructing its inlet airflow vent under it. This also increases the chances of more dust getting into your PC, contributing further to it running at even higher temperatures.

There are 3 basic shielding positions one can safely use their Laptop Computer with their CAVE™ case. This is aside from using it to actually store your PC in the Closed Position. (Please also feel free to view the additional pictures, in the "Picture Gallery", for more information on them):

1) The Ergonomic (Closed) Position.

2) The Flat (Opened) Position.

3) The Pregnant (Opened) Flat Position.

In addition to having this product being a truly a super mobile all-in-one workstation/desk especially for the person on the go. It can also accommodate all the other necessary items needed for one to work outside the office no matter what. Especially when one prefers in using an external mouse with their laptop computer. You can store your external mouse and/or AC adapter cord and/or other items in the optional Mouse Pouch which attaches via the Velcro® Accessory Tab (VAT).

15) Due to its unique patented design and composition, the inside forms a Faraday Cage type environment, if you will, forming a safe heaven to store your credit cards, ATM cards, etc., protecting them from anyone trying to electronically steal the information from them. The CAVE™ has this "blink" secured compartment inside, for just that purpose.

The Hairdryer Demo: Here is a great example of what happens to your Laptop computer when the air intake vent, under your PC, is totally or even partially obstructed. (i.e. when placed on soft or semi-soft surfaces like a bed, couch, lap, chest, etc.) Simply take a standard hairdryer and place your hand over the side air intake vents, while its on. Then look inside the air outlet tube and notice inside the heater coils begin to start turning red-hot. (Please just do this for a few seconds, as any longer, may damage your hairdryer if it doesn't have any safety relay switch) Now think of the red hot coils as the internal integrated components inside your Laptop computer. This scenario causes them to run at a lot higher temperature than what they were designed to do. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out that this is not a very good thing for your PC. Not to mention, that the Thermal (heat) component also drastically goes up, further increasing the temperature to anything under the PC, as well, including the user. This also causes the PC battery to run at a higher temperature environment which will also shorten its running time, in addition to, its overall total lifespan as well. This one feature/benefit alone will pay for your CAVE™, many times over, during the life of your PC. Remember, when using your PC on a CAVE™, in any position, allows it to run cooler and cleaner in a dustless environment. Here, again, the more dust that gets sucked into your PC and coats the IC components, will further augment the above, increasing the overall heating process. Even when your Laptop is placed on a flat hard surface, the height spacing is a very minimal, maybe a millimeter or two at best. The CAVE(tm) offers ~½” height spacing for a maximum passive and "Greener" airflow. Especially when the user is in the Ergonomic Position, the inclined angle further channels the hotter air, away from the PC due to the fact that hotter air is less dense and will rise up the incline spacing channel toward the back of the PC and away from it for an even better than more efficient cooling process. Vertical and Horizontal weight testing: In physics, a Triangle is the strongest basic structure known. The CAVE™ design follows this same concept. This product has been tested with Vertical and Horizontal weight downward pressure and has withstand hundreds of pounds of vector pressure in these directions. Try doing that with any standard Computer Case or Sleeve!
