It’s been shown that higher frequencies in the current “low power” cellular phones are mimic the resonant frequency of the human skull. Cancer can develop when RF radiation emitted from cell phones bounces back and forth in the eye sockets filled with conductive fluid. The University of Essen in Germany showed how this fluid uveal layer made up of the iris and base of the retina absorbs this RF radiation all the time while on the phone, increasing the odds of getting eye cancer. The London Sunday Times explained “Cells called melanocytes found in the uveal layer started growing and dividing more rapidly when exposed to microwave radiation. Since uveal melanoma starts within such cells, there is a ready-made mechanism by which mobile phones radiation might help to initiate cancer – especially in people with a genetic predisposition to the condition.” [London Sunday Times Jan 14/01]
